Ronaldo Kit outsells Kaka at Real Madrid BIG TIME!

Thursday, July 9th, 2009

Kaka sold 600 shirts in his first day at the club, but Cristiano Ronaldo, or as he will be better known CR9, has sold 3000 in the first 2 hours after the unveiling. Ronaldo looks set to outsell even David Beckham, as the latter filled a 5000-capacity basketball arena, while 80000 turned up at the Bernabeu for the Ronaldo unveiling. The unveiling of fourth signing (after Kaka, Raul Albiol and Ronaldo) Karim Benzema will be tonight, the 9th July, at 9pm at the Santiago Bernabeu. Whether a comparable amount of fans will turn up as the crowd gathered by Ronaldo is yet to be seen. What is certain is that the shirts of the new Number 9 will continue to break records as the white home shirt and the marine blue away shirt are being demanded with ‘Ronaldo’ at the back.

Real Madrid have unveiled the new kits by Adidas for the 09/10 season. A new era has dawned at the club with recent mind blowing transfers, with the arrival of Kaka & Cristiano Ronaldo.

It uses the Flow Mapping technology, with optimized 3-D design  to increase comfort & fit while allowing total movement. Consider this ClimaCool 2.0. The kit also has 2 hidden gems, a small crest on the right side of the chest is a symbol for the scared Bernabeu Stadium, and a yellow trim to signify the golden days of Real Madrid and a tribute to Don Alfredo di Stefano, regarded as the greatest Real Madrid player Ever.

Can the New Galacticos get it done?
