Ronaldo looks set to outsell even David Beckham, as the latter filled a 5000-capacity basketball arena, while 80000 turned up at the Bernabeu for the Ronaldo unveiling. The unveiling of fourth signing (after Kaka, Raul Albiol and Ronaldo) Karim Benzema will be tonight, the 9th July, at 9pm at the Santiago Bernabeu. Whether a comparable amount of fans will turn up as the crowd gathered by Ronaldo is yet to be seen. What is certain is that the shirts of the new Number 9 will continue to break records as the white home shirt and the marine blue away shirt are being demanded with ‘Ronaldo’ at the back.
