Cristiano Ronaldo was presented to a near-capacity crowd at the Bernabeu after completing the formalities of his £80m world-record move to Real Madrid.
The former Manchester United winger, 24, passed a medical on Monday before greeting almost 80,000 Real fans.
In his first public address to his new supporters the Portuguese international said that his transfer had “made my childhood dream a reality”.
“I never imagined that fans would have such a feeling for me,” he said.

Standard Liège unveiled their new 09/10 football kits made by Diadora. They are one of the most successful clubs in Belgium, having won the Belgian League on 10 occasions, most recently in 07/08 & 09/10.
For a “massive” club, i’m surprised they didn’t get a better color. I’m almost at a loss for words for these kits, yellow?, sorry…FRESH YELLOW is the official color listed on the NUFC website, what do you guys think? Is this the worst away kit in the Coca Cola Championship?

Bundesliga club Bayern Munich has unveiled their new keeper jersey for the 2009/10 season in Germany. The new jersey is white with a pink pinstripe down the arms from the collar with black accents. Adidas logo, the T-Mobile Sponsor logo and the Bayern Munich logo finish up the front of the jersey. Looks like a winner to me. This jersey proves pink can be tough!
It’s the date all the united fans have been waiting for, a new step in the new kit release, 9:00-ish UK time the shirt will go on sale for pre-order, not sure if they’ll release more pics or not, but i have a banner i took into photoshop, it looks to me as if the black chevron is legit. PSV have unveiled a new Nike away kit for the 09/10 and 10/11 seasons. The top is black, with red shorts and black socks, with the white & red checkers in a vertical design. The new kit goes on sale July 4th.
